We have something against unpleasant odors in plastics
Odors in plastics are surface characteristics caused by volatile organic compounds or low molecular weight organic acids produced during the processing of polymer additives. They restrict product use because their odor is undesirable in end-product applications.
We offer our customers odor-neutralising concentrates that have been specially developed to neutralise or absorb odors. These substances are not only non-toxic and usually suitable for food packaging but can also be used to enhance recycled materials and give them a permanent odor-neutralising effect.
Typical applications are:
- Improving the bioelasticity of food and medical packaging.
- Removal of contact odors from packaged products such as fish, garlic, onions and other volatile organic compounds
- Deodorisation of recycled polymers
