Cohesion and support through our network

The challenges of sustainability, environmental and climate protection in a complex environment require well-founded answers. Here, cooperation and support through knowledge and information in professional associations and networks are a proven key to success. Discussions and exchanges accelerate the development of topics such as recycling plastics and help to constantly improve our company.

Measured by turnover, the full members represent more than 80 percent of the plastics packaging production in Germany.

In addition to the bundling of common economic interests and political cooperation, the wide range of information offered is a major advantage of membership in this association. Innovative topics are discussed and further developed by the members together.

For example, a current topic in connection with climate neutrality and sustainability is the further strengthening of the circular economy, the expansion of the recycled content in products and the development of “Design for Recycling”.

Network – Allianz für Entwicklung und Klimaschutz

Alliance for Development and Climate Foundation

In the course of achieving climate neutrality CONSTAB GER has at the same time become a supporter of the Alliance for Development and Climate Foundation. But what is this alliance about and who else is involved besides CONSTAB GER?

Basically, the alliance was initiated by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development to give all companies and institutions that would like to volunteer there the opportunity to promote international climate protection projects in emerging and developing countries. The goal is the reduction, avoidance and compensation of CO2 emissions, accompanied by the promotion of concrete climate protection projects. The offsetting takes place through the purchase of high-quality climate certificates that finance the projects in the countries mentioned and, for example, improve the supply of renewable energy there or contribute to the protection of forests. Ultimately, this is not only explicitly about climate protection, but always also about development work, so that the commitment of the alliance and its supporters is not limited to compliance with the Paris Climate Agreement, but also understands the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (also known as UN Sustainable Development Goals) as guiding values within the framework of the so-called “Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development”.
