Clear visibility with CONSTAB-Masterbatches.

Fogging is a term used to describe the condensation of water vapour on a transparent plastic film in form of droplets.

This effect occurs in applications like greenhouse films and food packaging films when there is a temperature difference inside and outside of the film. Fogging leads to reduced light transmission, visibility and aesthetics, plant damage from lens effect of droplets, food deterioration from dripping water.

Antifog additives incorporated into the plastic film migrate to the surface and prevent there the formation of water droplets. Result is a clear transparent film.
